Top Ten Best Sports Sedans
67
If you are in the market for a Sports Sedan then you have more options now than ever before. With nearly every manufacturer putting a badge on sports sedans it can be a bit hard to determine what is best. This list of Top Ten are not in order, I can pick out what I think is the best which I will a bit later but I think it’s impossible to put them in order.
2010 Mercedes AMG C63
Cost: $636500
Engine: 6.3 liter v8
HP: 457 hp
Torque: 443 ft-lb)
One of my favorites, a bit pricey but a all around awesome car.
2011 Cadillac CTS V
Cost: $62,165
Engine: 6.2 liter Supercharged
HP: 556HP
Torque: 551ft-lbs
Ran a 7:59.32 lap of the Nürburgring Ring this is the fastest-ever lap time for a production sedan
2011 Audi S4
Cost: $45,900
Engine: 3.0 liters
HP: 333 hp
Torque: 325 lb-ft
Old S4 looked much better, this looks like an older S4 and a BMW Z4 had a child together.
2011 Mitsubishi Evolution
Cost: $29,581
Engine: 2.0 liter turbo
HP: 291 hp
Torque: 300 ft-lb
By far the Most Practical car on this list
2011 Subaru WRX
Cost: $32,000 (est)
Engine: 2.4 turbo
HP: 305 hp
Torque: 290 ft-lb
Excellent Value but Ive never been a fan, Ken Block almost had me liking them but then he went to Ford.
2011 BMW M3
Cost: $67,050
Engine: 4.0 v8
HP: 414 hp
Torque: 295 ft-lb
One of my personal favorites, but probably not the best for the money.
2011 Jaguar XFR
Cost: $79,600
Engine: 5.0 Super Charged
HP: 510 hp
Torque: 460 ft-lb
Absolutely Gorgeous, Jaguar finally has built another immediate classic
2011 Infiniti G37
Cost: $36,050
Engine: 3.7 v6
HP: 330 hp
Torque: 270 ft-lb
Anyone else confusing it with a Nissan Maxima
2010 BMW 550
Cost: $59,700
Engine: 4.4 liter v8
HP: 360 hp
Torque: 361 ft-lb
A bit meager on power in my opinion. $60,000 should get you more.
2011 Audi A4
Cost: $31,950
Engine:
2.0 turbo
HP: 211 hp
Torque: 258 ft-lb
Not a huge HP number but nonetheless a quick, fun car. Not really Raw enough for my taste in handling, its a bit too easy.
Of all the available sports sedans that are available today, i think the best ones are above. Not taking cost into consideration the Mercedes C63 is #1. But if you factor in the cost the CTS V simply cannot be ignored, it is by far the fastest, most affordable car on the list. The best budget car is the Mitsubishi Evolution, its not a 500 HP beast but it is a very quick car and although i have not driven the new one, the old ones were a blast to drive and extremely forgivable.
Hope you enjoy the list!

I have one photo in my Hub about Chinese cars. The logo is 90% infinity.(or more)
I own the Infiniti G37, had a BMW 328 E46 which I loved but could not aford due to maintenance. The G is a rocket, comes with AWD, and is comfortable to drive. I don't miss the BMW...

2011 Infinity... We do not have them here... In many places it can be mistaken for a Chery... Because of the badge.
